Welcome to the California Association of Community College Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACCRAO) website!
We welcome your visits to the CACCRAO website. Our association is comprised of Admissions and Records managers and staff members in the offices of the 110 public community colleges in California. We are committed to serving students in one of the largest systems of higher education in the world. We strive to provide current information to our members about best practices in our profession, legislative mandates and updates – both state and federal, and policy development that affect the job responsibilities of staff in our Admissions and Records Offices. We hold regional and annual conferences to provide these updates and training. Training opportunities are as follows:
- October/November – North and South Fall Training Workshops
- March – Regional Workshops
- May 3-6, 2009 – Statewide Annual Conference
Workshops were held in all five regional areas in 2007-08. We collaborated with the State Chancellor’s Office staff in October to present workshops in the North and South that provided information and interpretations on the Title 5 changes that became effective in August 2007. We will be planning similar kinds of activities for 2008-09. Please plan to participate!
