Welcome to the California Association of Community College Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACCRAO) website!
CACCRAO is the professional association for the Admissions and Records managers and staff members from the 110 public community colleges in California. Throughout the years, CACCRAO has been instrumental in supporting new and seasoned Admissions and Records managers. The association offers regional workshops, an annual conference and other training opportunities to communicate best practices, legislative updates, and innovative trends in technology. We encourage and facilitate information exchange between our members to research and resolve issues, offer support and assistance and to develop knowledgeable professionals. CACCRAO members have been increasingly sought after for providing expertise in our field via workshop presentations at affiliated state and regional conferences.
The annual CACCRAO conference is a well attended event where members receive a wealth of information on budgetary issues, technology, regulatory changes, personnel and many other topics. The attendees also have a chance to connect and learn from their colleagues, hear from other education professionals and exchange ideas. With support of the association, CACCRAO members develop sound enrollment and record keeping practices reflected throughout the California community colleges.
Workshops are offered to Admissions and Records support staff in five regional areas each spring. In recent years, CACCRAO has also offered specialized workshops in the areas of Title 5 regulatory changes and records evaluations. Similar activities are planned for the upcoming year.
